Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting medical cost and revenue analyses using claims and other data sources Use data analysis skills and query data warehouse to monitor the accuracy of reporting data. Coordinate with other departments across the company to resolve errors in the data reporting process. Perform financial reconciliation of reported data to the company general ledger. Work with software developers to turn business requirements into technical specifications and meet with Information Technology (IT) departments throughout project lifecycles. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and demonstrated data skills. Advanced skills in data manipulation, database software, spreadsheets, and analytical software including SQL. Healthcare background and experience analyzing healthcare claims data. Self-motivated, creative problem solver who can work independently and collaborate through strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong project management experience and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with good time management skills. Work Experience: The ideal candidate must have at least 3-5 years of data analysis experience preferably within managed care/ healthcare.
